Bucking the local trend of crafting heavily-hopped, high-gravity brews, New English Brewing Company’s British owner and brewmaster Simon Lacey breathes life into an old favorite by combining traditional New English styles with authentic West Coast character. Focusing primarily on English ales – which are traditionally milder in flavor, rounder in body, and breadier than the strong local brews – New English Brewing Company is the perfect getaway for those craving something a little different.
From dry Irish stouts and classic English-style pale ales to thirst-quenching session IPAs and single-hopped American wheat beers, New English Brewing takes its patrons around the world with eight great tasting brews.
As a two-for-one, New English Brewing Company’s tasting room is located inside the brewery itself, giving patrons a tour of the beer-making process as they enjoy a balanced New English ale. Tasting room hours are Wednesday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 2-6 p.m.
