The view from the Grand Canyon’s Point Sublime is well worth this long drive. Point Sublime Trail is located along the North Rim Parkway (SR 67) on the North Rim in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona - 2.7 miles north of Grand Canyon Lodge. The 17.7 miles one way dirt road goes through old-growth ponderosas. Keep left on any of the main trail forks.
A high-clearance vehicle is required; four-wheel-drive is recommended.
Overnight camping with a permit is allowed at the point.
Access to this part of the park by car is seasonal, traditionally open from mid-May to mid-October or depending on snowcover from the previous winter.
