Off-road to Gregg's Hideout, Arizona

Gregg’s Hideout is located on Lake Mead and started out as Mike Scanlon’s Ferry in 1881. It was later purchased by Tom Gregg and renamed. The dirt road can be rough, with washboards and the last mile and a half downhill and sandy, so 4WD is recommended. Access: From Pierce Ferry Road (Hwy25), drive 17.7 miles down Gregg’s Hideout Road TIPS: Fishing is good at Gregg’s Hideout. Look for Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, Sunfish and Catfish. No launch ramp No drinking water No gas station nearby RVs not recommended
