Off-road to Mary Jane Francis Gravesite, Poison Spider Trail, Moab, Utah

Mary Jane Francis gravesite is locataed along the Poison Spider Mesa Safari Trail near Moab, Utah. She lived from 1889 - 1896, and legend has it that she was buried here. Mary Jane supposedly died from - you guessed it- a bite from a poison spider! Hence the name of the trail. This memorial has encouraged many to leave a tribute – small teddy bear, toy rabbit, necklaces and coins, especially quarters.
