Play "Tin Cup" Hole at The Clubs of Kingwood - Deerwood, Kingwood, Texas
Hole #13 at The Clubs of Kingwood - Deerwood Clubhouse is where Roy McAvoy (Kevin Costner) kept knocking it in the water on the 72nd hole of the U.S. Open. A plaque, marking the site where Costner attempted the shot sits about 230 yards to the center of the green. The Clubs of Kingwood is a ClubCorp-operated private club in the quiet woods of Northeast Houston (Kingwood, Texas).
Hole No. 13 receives recognition every year by the Dallas Morning News as one of 18 Texas golf holes considered to be the toughest in the state.
The course is ranked as one of the top 10 courses in Texas by the Dallas Morning News.
