Arkansas River, 50
View Original Description
The Numbers whitewater rafting offers tight channels, steep drops, white knuckles, and non-stop action. Extremely rocky, this steep and very technical series of drops requires pinpoint precision paddling. Rafting The Numbers is one of the most difficult sections of commercially rafted river in Colorado. Be prepared to make radical maneuvers as you punch powerful hydraulics and make lateral raft moves to thread the needle in boulder-choked drops. If you have time to look around you, the views of the 14,000 foot Collegiate Peaks are awe inspiring. The Numbers rafting trips on the Arkansas River provide great whitewater until mid-August and are suitable for adventurous beginners and experienced paddlers.
Narrows Express is an exhilarating stretch of the Arkansas River packed with one rapid after another! It makes for nonstop paddling, fun and excitement along with beautiful views of fourteen thousand ft. peaks!
Another popular Arkansa section is Browns Canyon. On this half days adventure, enjoy 10 miles of whitewater rafting in this beautiful boulder-strewn canyon. Exciting rapids like Pinball, Zoom-Flume, Big Drop, Seven Stairs and Widow-maker punctuate the canyon.
Wildlife is abundant in the Rockies! Bighorn sheep, eagles, deer, beaver, and coyotes can often be seen during your river trip.
