Camilo Beach in Lagos, Portugal is a beautiful little beach along the cliffs. It's a nicely sheltered bay for swimming and is an ideal choice of beach for a breezy day. The pristine sand has the pink tinge - typical of the Algarve beaches. The beach is located between Praia Dona Ana Beach and Praia da Boneca Beach. There is a very pretty ‘doorway’ in the rocks that you can walk into and there's also a small tunnel through the rock that leads to a another adjoining beach. The beach is accessed by a wooden steps down to the sand. At the top of the clidd is a restaurant that is very popular with local residents, serving local dishes and specialising in freshly caught seafood. Definately try the giant prawns and sea bass.
