Relax on Flamenco Beach (Playa Flamenco), Culebra, Puerto Rico
Culebra has many beautiful beaches including Flamenco Beach (Playa Flamenco), which can be reached by shuttle buses from the ferry. The beach extends for a mile of white coral sand and is framed beautifully by arid tree-covered hills. The beach is also a Marine Wildlife Reserve so Fishing is prohibited.
Bring water and food just in case since you either pay a small fee for a ride into town or its a 1/2 hr walk in tropical heat.
You can get to the island in a small plane from a small airport at Fajardo (on the main island) or by ferry (get there 1hr early, at least, and it can get crowded).
