Relax on
Las Caletas Beach, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
View Original Description
Las Caletas was once the private home of film director John Huston who considered it one of the most beautiful places in the world. The beach is nestled in a secluded nature preserve on the southern shores of Banderas Bay.
Las Caletas is only accessible by sea, and while cruising across Banderas Bay you can take photographs of Puerto Vallarta's fantastic coastal scenery.
The beach is a bit touristy but worth it, lots of good food and free flowing drinks if you want it.
Take a sweater for the evening if you plan tosee the Rythym of the night show. The trip over on the cataramaran can be rough.
Caletas is now owned and operated by Vallarta Adventures, a tour provider.
