Playa Palmilla is known for its calm waters, perfect for families with little kids. The beach, which is close to San Jose del Cabo, has thatch roof huts for shade and a dive shop renting snorkeling gear. The beach is public but the resorts in front of the beach discourage non-guests from accessing the property. It's best to pack in your own lunch and make a picnic of your visit.
