Relax on Stone Island Beach, Mazatlan, Mexico

Despite its name the Stone Island is a peninsula that connects to contiente near the international airport of Mazatlan. It has white sand beaches and loads of simple al fresco restaurants specializing in seafood. Stone Island is reached via ferry or panga (a small fishing boat) from Mazatlan, a ride of less than 10 minutes. Visitors can also opt for an organized day tour, in which they'll be provided with transportation, refreshments and snorkeling equipment.
