One of the most popular activities offered to the guests at Adobe Guadalupe is a horseback ride through the vineyards. You can ride English or Western style. A good option during the tour is to taste some wines in the vineyards of Monte Xanic, a friendly winery and neighbor of Adobe Guadalupe. Adobe Guadalupe is the largest breeder of Azteca Sporthorses in the world. Upon your visit you will find broodmares and young horses growing up and enjoying life in pastures surrounded by vineyards or in the large box stalls in the stable, where their training begins. Reservations are required. The Azteca Sporthorses have the finest qualities Antonio Ariza of Domecq had in mind when he brought the first Andalusian stallion from Spain and bred it to an American Quarter horse. They have since added to that original combination, by breeding premium Azteca mares to the finest Andalusian stallions. The result has been horses suitable for success in any discipline!
