Ride Kauai Plantation Railway (Kilohana Plantation Estate), Kauai, Hawaii
Kauai Plantation Railway tours around the beautiful orchards and animal pastures. One of the stops is a very kid-friendly animal-feeding pen.
The train cars are reproductions of the railway cars of the period of King Kalakaua. They are elegant with hand finished wood interiors and off an enclosed ride with plenty of views. If you are feeling more adventurous you may pick the open sided excursion car as used on the Oahu coast railway before World War II.
