Ride Ruta del Vino Bike Ride, Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California
The Ruta del Vino Bike Ride & Wine Festival is an international cycling event through the Wine Capital of Mexico: The Guadalupe Valley, just outside of Ensenada, Baja California. Along the route you will ride past over 25 wineries in the heart of the valley, where the aroma of grapes mixes with ocean breezes and the sun permeates the picturesque rural landscape.
The event course is fully paved, covering 25 miles with over 1,200 feet of elevation gain. The ride is considered moderately difficult and is recommended only for cyclists in good physical condition.
Celebrate your finish at the Wine Festival! Taste award-winning varietals from the area’s best wine makers and savor cuisine prepared by award-winning local chefs. You’ll be entertained with live, local music. And of course there’s plenty of ice cold cervezas! Entry to the Wine Festival is free and open to the public, and all riders receive an engraved wine glass and free wine tasting!
