Rock Climb Headstone Rock, Joshua Tree National Park
Headstone Rock is located just east of Ryan Campground in Joshua Tree National Park. Headstone Rock is a popular climbing destination in Joshua Tree. There are 5 routes up Headstone ranging from a 5.6 trad climb to a 5.13+ sport climb.
The SW Corner (5.6) is along the left side of Headstone Rock and is protected via three bolts. The South Face Center (5.9) route is just to the left of Cryptic and is protected via a toprope.Cryptic (5.8) is the three bolt line along the right side of Headstone Rock.
