Featuring one of the simplest sets, this musical has all eyes on the 17 dancers who are auditioning for a part in a chorus line in an upcoming Broadway show. The audience learns about each character through songs that offer a snippet of their lives. It is an inspiring show and at times heartbreaking, since there are only a few spots available that all the dancers dream of getting. The musical first came out in 1975 and won nine Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
