Balåifossen Falls, Norway

The Baläifossen waterfall in located in Norway in Province Hordaland and drops down a 850 meters (2,788 foot) cliff into the waters of the Osafjorden, a tributary of the upper reaches of Hardangerfjorden. The falls is feed by several small mountain small lakes. The waterfall is feed by seasonal snowfields therefore the falls are less than impressive during the late summer and fall (the falls can run dry during the late summer). The falls are best seen from a road on the opposite side of the fjord which leads to the head of the fjord at the town of Osa.
