Catholic church in Erice, Italy. Dedicated to Saint Julian, martyr in 254 AD. It was so important that Mount Erice until 1934 was called Mount San Giuliano. One of the most ancient Catholic places of worship in Erice, built on top of the highest part of the inhabited nucleus, had territorial jurisdiction over one of the most important districts of the city, called precisely "Quartiere di San Giuliano".
