Cliffords Inn Passage Urine Deflectors, London, England
View Original Description
Cliffords Inn Passage is an alleyway off Fleet Street that is one of the few remaining examples of 19th-century London’s attempt to clean up its reputation. To prevent corroding the brick walls by people reliving themselves, urine deflectors were installed along the length of Cliffords Inn Passage.
