See Dodge and Hulings Batteries, Diamond Head Crater, Oahu, Hawaii

Dodge and Hulings Batteries (1913) are on the east side of Diamond Head Crater and each armed with a pair of 4.72 inch guns. Each tunnel mouth had a gun mount, for a total of four 6 inch guns. The guns were removed in the early 1920s after they were declared obsolete, and the tunnels are now used for storage and equipment. Fire Control Station Diamond Head was built at the summit between 1908-1910 and housed instruments and plotting rooms to direct artillery fire from several batteries.
