See Frenchman Flat Domes, Nevada Test Site, Nevada
Ten concrete and two aluminum shelters and thier blast doors were tested to withstand various blast foreces at Frenchman Flat Concrete Mound, Nevada Test Site, Nevada. The 50-fet diameter concrete domed shelters were two-feet thick are still intact. The six-inches thick ones are partially collasped. The aluminum domes were both crushed.
