See Sky Art Sculptures (Galleta Meadows), Borrego Springs, California
Visitors to Anza-Borrego desert may be startled by the vision of life-sized metal sculptures of dinosaurs, horses, mastodons and other creatures rising from the desert floor. Scattered over three square miles of desert surrounding the town of Borrego Springs is an installation of over 130 sculptures by artist Ricardo Breceda collectively known as Sky Art (or Galleta Meadows Sculptures).
Sculptor Ricardo Breceda created these life-size free-standing metal sculptures to be replicas of animals that once roamed the Borrego Valley.
