See Grave of Sandra West and Her Ferrari, Alamo Masonic Cemetery San Antonio, Texas
In 1977, wealthy Beverly Hills socialite Sandra West was entombed in her powder-blue 1964 Ferrari wearing an elegant white nightdress.
She was the wife of Texas oil tycoon Ike West (Aug 29, 1934-January 1968). When she made her will, she requested that she be buried inside a Ferrari “with the seat slanted comfortably."
The burial attracted 300 onlookers then, but has since seen thousands of tourists looking to catch a glimpse of the eccentric grave.
