Hjarðarhagi Turf Houses, Iceland

Hjarðarhagi farm has a two ramining old sheephouses turf houses. For centuries the outhouses of Hjarðarhagi were in a cluster of six buildings. The others were demolished in the 1970’s to make space for Road No 1.
A steep hike goes up to the Hjardarhagi Stonewall, which was most likely used as a fence for farm animals.
