See Inca Ruins of Tipón, Peru

Tipón, located southeast of Cusco, are Inca ruins may have been a park for upper class or agricultural centrum. Tipónstill has functioningaqueducts built by the ancient Incas. There are some of the most beautiful ancient waterways that have been restored and are functioning.The site also has masterpieces of mortar-less walls, are in perfect condition. Several surrounding ruins are excavated, and many more are visible below the soil. Tipon is reachable by road from Cuzco and is located 27 km (16.8 mi) from the big city.Most maps do not show Tipón, as it is hidden slightly to the north from the railway that goes from Cuzco to the Lake Titicaca area. The site can be reached by road or by a combination of rail and either road vehicle or walking. If you want to take the train, then you will have to get off at the town of Oropesa, from there by road vehicle or hike.
