See Italian Stone Pine Trees (Heritage Tree #16 & 17), Coronado, California
Located at 1030 and 1034 G Avenue have been growing in unison for nearly a century. Their extensive root systems and majestic canopies are now inextricably interwoven, and the pair is an impressive part of our urban tree canopy. Like many famous duos from classical literature and folklore, these monumental pines hail from the Mediterranean. These stand about 50 feet tall, but can reach heights of up to 80 feet with a maximum canopy of 60 feet.
