See Kechut Reservoir Spillway, Armenia

Kechut reservoir is a reservoir in Armenia and has an elevation of 1,942 metres and built-in 1981. It's famous for its star-shaped spillway. Spillways are structures that provide controlled release of flows from a dam (Kechut dam) into an area downstream. They release floods to prevent the reservoir from overflowing during floods. It's located in Vayots Dzor, 10 km to the town of Jermuk. The total volume is 23 million cubic meters.
