See New Mojave Phone Booth, Goffs, California
The original Mojave Phone Booth, as it came to be called, was originally set up in 1948 to provide telephone service to local volcanic cinder miners and others living in the area.
It's is a replica of that phone booth underneath the starry night sky, located along Route 66 at the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association in Goffs, CA.
