See Obra Día y Noche, Madrid, Spain

Obra Día y Noche by Antonio López can be found outside Madrid-Puerta de Atocha train station. The two pieces, three meters high and more than two thousand kilos each, are large bronze reproductions of a girl's head. In the play Día, the girl appears with her eyes open and gives the audience an attentive and awake gaze, while in Noche, the little girl, with her eyes closed, sleeps peacefully. In this way, the sculptural ensemble allegorically represents day and night, reflecting the rhythms and times of a railway station.
