See Pontsticill Overflow, Merthyr Tydfil, Wales
Pontsticill Reservoir / North of Merthyr Tydfil / The reservoir is surrounded by hills and forests in the Taf Fechan Valley in the central Brecon Beacons. The Brecon Mountain Railway which runs up its eastern side from Pant Station to Dolygaer with plans to extend its run to Torpantau. The Steam Train runs on the route of the former Brecon and Merthyr Railway .
