See "Red Square" Lenin Statue, NYC, New York

A 18-foot bronze statue of the former revolutionary and Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin use to stand on the roof in Lower East Side. In 1994, when "Red Square" developers Michael Rosen and Michael Shaoul came across the Lenin statue in a Moscow backyard and brought it back and placed it on the roof at 250 Houston St. In 2016, the new owners of "Red Square" removed it and was moved to the roof of 178 Norfolk St.
