See Ribbon Falls, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Ribbon Falls is a 50-foot waterfall in Grand Canyon National Park. The waterfall is located in a grotto on the west side of Bright Angel Creek, so reaching it is a short but extremely rewarding side trip. The falls are great for a day hike from Bright Angel Campground and Phantom Ranch (6 miles one-way, 1–2 hours). Hikers caught in the heat of the day should consider taking a siesta here from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ribbon Falls is a 16.8 mile hike round trip from North Kaibab Trailhead so don't attempt to hike it in a day!
