See Rock in the Road, McLouth, Kansas
No warning sign, no flashing lights. It's just there. The Rock in the Road is located on the middle of South Granite St road in McLouth, Kansas. It's a very hard, pink Sioux Quartzite which was transported to Kansas by continental glaciers. It was too big to move, so the town just paved around it.
