See Shell in the City, East Village, San Diego, California
The 22 foot steel shell sculpture tells the history of San Diego in narrative form. It's located at Park12's Collection’s Plaza in San Diego’s East Village. As a way to engage the community in hopes of embracing not only the history and the development of Downtown, Park12 is encouraging you to take a selfie or should we say “shellfie” on Instagram, using the hashtag “#park12shellfie”.
