See Show at Gala Tango, Buenos Aires, Argentina
There are so many tango choices here in Buenos Aires, but the best one of all is Gala Tango. It is one of the more expensive ones, but it is well worth it. A good place to book tango shows or just shop them is online at www.tangotix.com. They are cheaper than booking directly with the shows, but you will have to call to pay with Pesos as booking ahead will require payment with a credit card (at the official rate). If you can swing it, go for the full package with dinner and round trip transportation. They will pick you up and bring you back when the show is over.
The food at Gala Tango is surprisingly good (get the lomo)!
Tickets for the full package includes: unlimited wine, water, non-alcoholic beverages, a welcome cocktail, three-course dinner, transportation, and tango lesson before the show for $250 US per person. But if you call them at the last minute, you might be able to get the US dollar special they offered us recently for $125 USD. They require payment in actual dollars for this price but it's still a little better than the blue dollar exchange rate.
