Skały Kawalerskie (Knight's Rocks), Ojców National Park, Poland
View Original Description
Kawalerskie Rocks is a group of limestone rocks in the Ojcowski National Park . They are located on the eastern slope of the Prądnik Valley , next to the mouth of the Wrześnik Gorge. Formed as a result of water activity. They are steep cliffs with vertical walls rising above the flat and grassy valley floor. Rock climbing is not allowed on them. Opposite them are Maiden Rocks, and in the center is a lonely Deotyma Needle . The name of the Knight's Rock was given, as the inhabitants of the valley say, so that the Maidens would not be sad.
