See Split Mountain Gorge Anticline, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California
Fish Creek passed through Split Mountain Gorge, which was cut by an ancient stream that passed through the area millions of years ago. The Split Mountain Gorge Anticline is a upside down U makes it an anti (vs if it was right side up it would be a syncline).
