See The Bright Eye, Na Pali Coast Kauai, Hawaii
The Bright Eye is a open ceiling (collapsed) sea cave located along the Napali Coast. It was once a closed hollow lava tube. Overtime, due to erosion by the powerful sea waves, the ceiling collapsed. Pukalani is a Hawaiian word which can be loosely translated as “hole into the heavens”.
It can be reached only by helicopter, kayak or by boat. Boaters can enter these beautiful sea caves but is dependent on the ocean conditions each day.
