Torre di Calasetta (Torre Sabauda) is tower (called torre nêua or new, later called torre Litoranea) guarding of the territory, which still dominates the historic centre of Calasetta, was built in 1756 in volcanic stone blocks, according to the design of the Piedmontese military engineer Vallin.
