See Torre Vecchia, Oristano, Sardinia
The Torre Vecchia, as it is also called, is located in Capo San Marco, in the southern part of the homonymous promontory, not far from another tower, that of San Giovanni which dominates the ruins of the city of Tharros.
The Torre San Marco, designed like the other coastal towers to face the barbarian incursions, was built between 1585 and 1590, but its function was short-lived.
