The Tucumcari Murals were painted by Doug Quarles, a former resident of the town. Some of the murals include:
Tucumcari Tonite: Tucumcari mountain dead ahead and Route 66 in your tail lights!
Motel Safari: Check out Elvis & Cadillac at the entrance of Motel Safari! Bus is also at this location, painted on the exterior wall.
Daylight Train: Tucumcari, and Everyone's Federal Credit Union, has a long and proud connection with railroads.
The Legendary Road: Located on the east wall of Lowe's Grocery. One of the largest murals dedicated to Historic Route 66.
Welcome to Tucumcari!: Located at the Chamber of Commerce office.
The Dodge & the Cowboy: This is the first mural Doug and Sharon Quarles completed in Tucumcari.
Magnolia Station: See Get Your Kicks on Route 66. Plus: Thank God for the Rain is just around the corner.
