See Viaduc de Chessieux, France

275 m long, the amazing viaduct of Chessieux double curvature, evokes an "S" dilated from the sky. Crossing the Loire north of Balbigny, it allows to join on the left bank, Saint-Georges de Baroille. The latter has not always carried a road during its history, centenary: it is, in fact, an essential link in Balbigny's "tacot" at Saint-Just on the bridge via Saint-Germain Laval, its implementation service in 1912 at the end of exploitation, lack of profitability, on the eve of the Second World War.
