See Vintage McDonald's Signs in Winter Haven, Florida
There are actually two McDonald's signle arch sign in Winter Haven.
The one at 245 6th St NW is in the original design but has be renovated with the caption "Over 99 Billion Sold." Evidently, McDonald's stopped counting how many burgers it sold after 1994. Not sure when the sign was created.
The sign at 893 Cypress Gardens Blvd is a different one with the Speedee character. McDonald's first introduced the Speedee character in 1948, who was the mascot for the "Speedee Service System." Speedee preceded Ronald McDonald, who became the official mascot in 1963.
