Hike to Alp Mora Glacial Mills, Trin, Switzerland

Stunning place to take a rest and bath in natural "jacuzzi" on the 2000m high. The Maliensbach, which has its source on the Trinser Alp Mora (1,900 m above sea level), has been turning large stones, sand and gravel around its own axis for hundreds of years, always in the same place. In centuries of work, natural, cheese kettle-sized bathtubs (glacier mills) have formed. Each "Gletschermühle" is unique in its shape, appearance and depth. Some are small and almost circular, while others are elliptical and large enough to bathe in. The largest and most beautiful collection of “glacier mills” can be found at the height of Mutta Sura, where the almost 20 glacial potholes are also easily accessible. Shuttle bus goes up from Trinon Wednesday and Saturday to the trailhead.
