See Whales in the Sea of Córtez, Mexico
Humpbacks migrate over 6,000 miles from Siberia and Alaska to the warmer waters of Baja California and the Sea of Córtez whales each year from January through April. Blue whales arrive in the Sea of Cortez, every year in mid January and stay until mid March.
You'll also spot grays, fin, sei, pilot, orca, minke and Sperm whales along with many species of porpoise/dolphin.
The bay of Loreto is edged with many beautiful small islands bordering steep drop offs into the Sea of Cortez, perfect habitat for the whales.
