See Whales off Cape Cod, Massachusetts
The World Wildlife Fund named Cape Cod Massachusetts one of the top ten whale-watching spots in the world.
Some of the best excursions leave from Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod. The town has several whale watching fleets who patrol the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Most fleets guarantee a whale sighting (mostly humpback whale, fin whale, minke whale, sei whale, and the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale). The peak viewing months are April to October.
