Hike to Whistler Train Wreck & Cheakamus River Waterfalls, Whistler, BC, Canada

In 1956 a freight train on the PGE derailed at high speed. Several of the boxcars deemed beyond repair where removed from the track by a combination of heavy lift crane and bulldozer. It was thought cheaper to shove the remains into the trees to clear the right of way - and they are still where they were abandoned. A tourist attraction. Along the hike are the Cheakamus River Waterfalls.
