See Wildflowers at Superstition Mountains & Lost Dutchman State Park, Arizona

Superstition Mountains are located 40 miles north of Pheonix, Arizona and is a fantastic place to view desert wildflowers like Mexican Poppies and Lupine. The wildfflowers are particularly great after a wet winter. Peralta Canyon on the Northeast side of the range, offers a fantastic trial up to Fremont Saddle with a fantastic overlook of the iconic landmark known as Weaver’s Needle. Access to the area is by fairly well maintained gravel roads, but can be rough at times. Lost Dutchman State Park has dozens of terrific trails you can follow to explore the wildflowers, as well as picnic and camping areas.
