Aburatsubo Marine Park Aquarium in Japan is packed with fun things to do. The marine park offers chance to shake hands with a loveable otter (but they really just want the food in your hand). Each area of the park is home to a variety of animals and unique exhibits and displays.Just some of the attractions include the "SAKANA-NO-KUNI, Aquarium," permanent home to a variety of large sharks, the all-weather indoor ocean theater known as the "FANTASIUM, indoor theater" the "MIURA-SIZENKAN," with its variety of animals from the Miura Peninsula and the "MISAKI-MAGURO RESTAURANT Log Terrace," where you can dine on the famous misaki tuna! You can also find the "IRUKA-NO-POOL, Dolphin Pool," "ASHIKA-JIMA, Sea Lion Island" and "PENGUIN-JIMA, Penguin Island," home to cute penguins. The otter touching experience runs from 11:50 a.m. on weekdays and 12:40 a.m. on the weekend and public holidays, but the park recommends that you make an appointment or they can’t guarantee you’ll get to feel the otters.
