Shop at Punanga Nui Cultural Market, Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Punanga Nui Market is located on the waterfront next to Avarua, Rarotonga. Fresh fruit, veggies and fish, island food, live and recorded island music, clothing, handicrafts, black pearls, jewellery, massage, art works, second-hand books, pastries, just about everything is available at the Market!
Thearket is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, but Saturday is the main market day with all the stalls, shops and huts occupied with vendors. The market closes at 2pm on Saturday.
